Ruth Musgrave
Graduate Student

Ruth is a fourth year graduate student co-supervised by Rob Pinkel and myself.  She is interested in tidally driven flows, particularly over steep topography. She is using a combination of numerical and observational tools, some nice examples of which are shown here

Amy Waterhouse
Post-doctoral scholar

Amy is a post-doc working on our Climate Process team (look here) to understand global patterns of diapycnal mixing in the ocean.  She is particularly interested in the dynamics of turbulent mixing in coastal environments, and recently led an experiment to investigate mixing in a coastal canyon.

Caitlin Whalen
Graduate Student

Caitlin is a fourth year graduate student co-supervised by Lynne Talley and myself.  She is investigating global patterns of turbulent mixing as can be inferred from Argo profiles.  Her website is here
